Biography

Md. Fahad Hossen Shovo is an academic professional currently serving as a Lecturer in the Department of English at NPI University of Bangladesh, Manikganj. He is deeply passionate about creating an effective teaching environment and fostering critical learning opportunities for his students. Mr. Shovo completed his Master of Arts in Applied Linguistics and English Language Teaching (ALELT) from Jahangirnagar University in 2021. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts in the same field from the same institution, where he graduated in 2020. Before embarking on his higher education, he excelled in his academic pursuits, securing top scores in both his Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and Secondary School Certificate (SSC) exams. His professional journey began as an Assistant Teacher at Upashanghar Coaching Centre, where he gained hands-on experience in teaching and classroom management. In his current role, he is dedicated to engaging students in high-level discussions, self-directed learning activities, and ensuring that all curriculum requirements are met. Mr. Shovo has also contributed to extracurricular and voluntary activities. He served as a Volunteer Teacher at DIKKHA, a voluntary school for underprivileged children, and was a General Member of the Jahangirnagar University Career Club. Additionally, he has enhanced his professional skill set by attending workshops and completing a course on Basic Graphic Design. Proficient in using MS Office applications, he is committed to lifelong learning and professional growth. With a strong foundation in applied linguistics and language teaching, Mr. Shovo aspires to further his contributions to academia while continuing to inspire his students. He hails from Singair, Manikganj, and maintains a strong connection to his roots while actively building his career in education.
